If it’s been a long time since you’ve been to church, you will find that North Ridge is a great laid back place to try church again. Although it’s a friendly atmosphere, nobody pressures you or singles you out. It’s a great place to check out church without feeling like you’re being checked out. Dress is casual and comfortable.
The best way to describe our one-hour worship service at North Ridge, is upbeat, non-traditional, always from the Bible and never boring.
When you arrive you will be welcomed in the lobby by friendly greeters who will show you (and your kids) were to go. Before you find your seat, pour yourself a hot cup of fresh brewed Green Mtn. coffee, available in the lobby that you can take right to your seat with you.
The service begins with the North Ridge band and singers leading two uplifting worship songs that the audience will stand for and sing along with if so desired. The lyrics will be on all three large screens. Because we often have several visitors we understand that not everyone may be familiar with the music. If you don’t know the song and would rather not sing, no problem, just relax and enjoy the uplifting worshipful music.(Most of our band’s live music is from Christian Contemporary Radio’s top 40 along with some classic hymns and Christian Country.)
Following the music, Pastor Mike, will welcome the audience followed by his opening prayer and then one more song by the North Ridge band and or signers. At that time the youth group (Middle School and High School) students will be released for their Bible Study Café’ and elementary age students will be released for Fun KIDSLIFE Church that is located in the cafeteria.
Then, just before Pastor Mike’s message, he normally features a relevant video or secular song that relates to his topic. Mike’s message is designed to help you apply biblical principles to every day life that offers real life-changing hope. His talks are normally around 30 minutes in length.
An offering will be received as part of the worship service at the close of the service. As a visitor you are not expected to give an offering. (You are our guest.) The service will close with key video announcements of upcoming events for all ages.
Well, now that some of this stuff is out of the way…. we hope to see you this Sunday or as soon as you can make it. Our service time is 10:15am. You might want to to give yourself enough time to park, grab a coffee in the lobby and a get a good seat.
